Psalm 63:1 (NLT)
1O God, you are my God;
I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you;
my whole body longs for you
in this parched and weary land
where there is no water.
John 6:35 (CEB)
35Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
Revelation 22:17 (NIV)
17The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
Holidays finally arrived and all I could think about was using social medias and watching dramas or movies. I also busied myself by hanging out with my friends and thinking of my trip! My mind was filled with all these things, but what about God’s Word?
Even though I had a blast during my holidays, I still felt empty deep down, because I lacked God’s Word. I was thirsty for His Word and I felt that my relationship with God was no longer close. I needed Him more than my mobile devices…more than anything.
This is why we need to be close to God and remember Him, even during our busy schedule, because your soul thirsts for God, and your flesh yearns for God… ( Psalm 63:1 )
Be reminded of God and His Holy Word always. Put God first each day.
