Philippians 4:6-7 (CEB)
6Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. 7Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
10Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
1 Peter 5:7 (NLT)
7Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Whether it’s school, work, friend, or family related, we all have things to be stressed about. It’s easy to get so caught up in anxiety that we forget everything else. Being stressed out is extremely crippling, and it’s no fun.
The good news is God gives us peace that “exceeds all understanding.” Even if we have all the reasons in the world to be stressed, God will still be able to calm our hearts. God’s peace is unlike any worldly peace. God’s peace is perfect—soothing beyond reason.
Life is stressful, but you don’t have to face that stress alone. God wants you to talk to Him about your problems and concerns. He loves you and wants to help you.
