Philippians 4:6-7 (CEB)
6Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. 7Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus.
Due to the workloads in school and tests that were coming up, I was extremely anxious and stressed out. My mind was busy thinking about studies without a second thought about God. I felt helpless, and it seemed that no one was around to help me. I relied on myself and thought that I could handle all this workload on my own.
I finally decided to turn to God for help, as I could no longer handle all the stress. I turned to God in repentance, since I did not rely on Him to help me in the first place and did not place my trust in Him.
After casting out all my fears and worries unto Him, I felt that my burdens were lifted and I felt the joy in me because I was reminded that God will help me and grant me peace in all situations.
Tell the Lord all about the stress and worries that you’re having so that you can find true rest and peace in Him.
