Worry and Stress

Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
6Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Every day, we worry and stress about something, and most of the time it is something so small. It might be something like worrying what we want to wear to school today or worrying about a test that we studied for forever, but we still feel like we are going to fail. But the one thing that God tells us to do is not worry about anything. Instead, we’re supposed to pray about everything. God will always help us and all we have to do is ask him for help.

It can be very hard not to stress or get worried over things in our lives, but as you go through this week, try asking God for help. Just say, “Lord I normally worry about a lot in my life, but help me not to worry less and trust you more.”
