Philippians 3:10-11 (NIV)
10I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
Romans 8:17 (NIV)
17Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Jesus died for our sins. Of course, he also rose again three days later. Have you ever thought about the kind of power that would be required to do something like that? Not only to take on the sins of the whole world, but to defeat death?
So powerful, and so amazing, because we can know Him personally, as our Savior and Lord of all. Not only that, but that power over death is available to each and every one of us, as believers.
Have you been struggling with sin or a lack of faith? Rest in this hope: there is power in the cross. It is available to us! Christ can see you through.
