Love Your Brothers and Sisters

Ephesians 3:14-19 (NIV)
14For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

1 John 5:1 (NIV)
1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

Reflect

  My little brother and I are very close. We play with each other and do many things together… and of course we annoy each other. A couple months ago, my grandmother took temporary custody of him for family reasons, and now I don’t get to see him a lot. I miss him. I regret all the bad things I did to him, and hope he gets to come back soon.

  The point is to love your siblings, even though they can be annoying, and think before you go off on them, because you never know what can happen.

Respond

  If you have any siblings spend time with them, be nice to them, and love each moment of it. Be sure to thank God for them.
