Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)
18Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
A lot of us have heard these verses but how many of us actually follow them?
Recently I decided that I was tired of just barely “getting by”, all I would do is 2-3 minutes of devos in the morning then get out of bed and promptly blow up on my family for tiny pet peeves. I think most of us can probably relate to this.
We need to take this Christian thing seriously. And we need to share Christ with everyone we know, no matter how awkward we feel or what others gossip about us. Don’t say, “I could never do that,” because you can do it. This is our purpose on this earth and Jesus’ command!
Take about two minutes to thank God for everything that He has done for you. Then take a pencil and paper, or just make a note on your device, and write down three people who you need to approach this week because they need to know about the love of Jesus!
