Don’t Forget God’s Plans for You

Read

Job 37:12-14 (CEB)
12He overturns the circling clouds;
by his guidance they do their work,
doing everything he commands
over the entire earth.
13Whether for punishment, for his world,
or for kindness,
God makes it all happen.
14Hear this, Job;
stop and ponder God’s mighty deeds.

Proverbs 16:9 (NLT)
9We can make our plans,
but the Lord determines our steps.

Reflect

  Consider carefully what God puts in front of you. It may not meet your expectations, but the fact is, God knows best. Just because you haven’t received the things you want doesn’t mean God hates you. Just because you aren’t really popular doesn’t mean God doesn’t love you. Just because things didn’t turn out the way you expected doesn’t mean God doesn’t care for you.

  God wants the best for us, but we don’t always know what’s best. So, make your plans with Him –make God a priority.

Respond

  Consider how God’s power and wonders have affected your life and path so far. Learn to trust God for the plans and pathways to come.

Pray. Learn to discern his voice and know when to stop or move forward. You never walk alone.
